Praise for the Snow, Pray for the Planting

The report from the mountains of Afghanistan is that snowfall was about 40cm this winter. There have also been many light rains. For the farmers of Afghanistan, this means a good growing season. Please pray for a good planting season as farmers are already sowing their seed. We also ask you to pray that the seed of the Word of God be sown in abundance in the coming year. This sowing may be through the written Word of God or oral stories. It may be through Gospel radio broadcasts, audio tapes, or by believers. But now is the time to plant the Seed! Pray for laborers to set their hand to the plow and be strengthened in their work. Pray the Lord of the Harvest to multiply their efforts in the souls of Afghans.
